Our EDP member Tina Freyburg joined the annual agenda meeting of the Network on Democratisation, Decentralisation and Local Governance (DDLGN)\u00a0of the Swiss Agency for Development (SDC) on January 24, 2019 in Bern, Switzerland. In this meeting, the annual review of 2018 as well as the outlook on 2019 were presented and discussed.<\/p>\n

Tina acted as a discussant and took the opportunity to highlight network members\u2019 work particularly on shrinking civic spaces and state capture. She also introduced and distributed the EDP network\u2019s joint PRIF report on \u201cDemocracy Promotion in Times of Uncertainty.
