The Peace Research Institute (PRIF) together with GIGA organized a virtual workshop on the implications of Covid-19 for civic spaces between the 25 – 26 March 2021. During the two days workshop, international experts and academia assessed data, patterns and trends on the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic on civic space worldwide. The workshop took stock of emerging research on the topic including qualitative and quantative research contributions and preliminary findings of relevance for both the academic and the public debate.
