Am IDOS co-leitet sie das Forschungsprojekt \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idos-research.de\/forschung\/projekte\/details\/megatrends-afrika-strukturelle-transformation-und-internationale-zeitenwende\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Megatrends Afrika<\/a>\u201d sowie ein Forschungsprojekt zur Rolle der Europ\u00e4ischen Union als Akteur f\u00fcr globale Entwicklung. Als Privatdozentin lehrt Christine regelm\u00e4\u00dfig an der <a href=\"https:\/\/internationale.politik.uni-mainz.de\/dr-christina-hackenesch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Johannes Gutenberg-Universit\u00e4t Mainz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Christines Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen an der Schnittstelle zwischen den Internationalen Beziehungen und der vergleichenden Regimeforschung. Sie analysiert insbesondere die Au\u00dfenbeziehungen Chinas und deren Auswirkungen auf politische Regime in Afrika. Christine forscht zu europ\u00e4ischer Demokratief\u00f6rderung und dem Einfluss rechtspopulistischer Parteien auf europ\u00e4ische Au\u00dfen- und Entwicklungspolitik.
