During the last ECPR Joint Sessions of Workshops that took place in Pisa in late April, Johannes co-directed a workshop on legitimation in non-democratic contexts. With Alex Dukalskis (UC Dublin) he discussed conceptual and empirical challenges of translating a contested concept to the realm of non-democracies. Alex was a former visiting fellow within the EDP framework. They plan to edit a special issue on the topic.
