Johannes Gerschewski awarded with Gero Erdmann-Prize

We are happy to announce that Johannes has been awarded the “Gero Erdmann-Preis für vergleichende Area-Forschung”. The prize is awarded by the Journal Comparative Governance and Politics and the working group ‚Democracy Research’ of the German association for Political Science. It honors the best dissertation of the years 2013 and 2014. In his dissertation Johannes analyzed the stabilizing conditions of East Asia’s autocratic regimes. He shares the first place with Dorothea Keudel-Kaiser (European University Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder, Government Formation in Central and Eastern Europe).
