Rebecca Wagner, EDP network member and researcher at PRIF, joins the Electoral Integrity Project in 2023 as a junior fellow. During her fellowship, she will research the impact of international electoral aid on domestic politics. The research project is titled “The ambiguity of international electoral aid for electoral resilience of CSOs during processes of democratic backsliding”. The research is based on her field research in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and findings from a global survey among citizen election observers.
