We are happy to announce that Roman Stolzenberger has joined the EDP Network as a member and are looking forward to working with him.

Roman Stolzenberger is currently a Master’s student in Political Science and Sociology at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. Before starting his consecutive Master’s program in the winter semester of 2021, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in the same subjects from 2017 to 2021, also at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. Since the end of his Bachelor’s studies, Roman has specialized in the field of external democracy promotion, particularly focusing on the promotion strategies of emerging democratic powers such as India and Brazil. His Master’s thesis, which he is expected to complete in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Christoph Mohamad-Klotzbach (Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg) and Prof. Dr. Sonja Grimm (Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg), is titled “Democratic Emerging Powers and External Democracy Promotion: Democracy Models in the Promotion Efforts of India and Brazil”.
