On February 18, ten new members were officially welcomed to the EDP Network in a virtual online conference. More than doubling its strength in members to a total of 18 participating scholars from 16 European research institutions, the network can from now on draw on a much broader basis of expertise on various aspects of democracy promotion and enlarged regional expert knowledge.
Besides getting to know one another, the participants discussed the next steps of accessing new funding, as well as ideas for joint research and knowledge transfer projects in the future.
