EDP Network members Julia Leininger (German Development Institute) and Jonas Wolff (Peace Research Institute Frankfurt) took part in an expert workshop at the Federal Foreign Office on 30 January 2020 in Berlin. The event was titled “Democracy promotion by the Federal Foreign Office: stocktaking and strategy reflection” (“Demokratieförderung des Auswärtigen Amts: Bestandsprobe und Strategiereflektion“). Julia spoke on “Impact models of democracy promotion” and Jonas on “Promotion of democracy and civil society in the context of Shrinking Civic Spaces”.
