As part of the EMBRACE project, Sonja Grimm visited Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia, in early May. The visit centered on discussions about the state of Georgian higher education and the further development of the Erasmus+ partnership between the IPS and Ilia State University.

In lectures and a university-wide panel discussion, she engaged with colleagues and students on the role of the EU in global affairs and the prospects of Georgia’s potential accession to the EU.

The exchange marked another important step in strengthening academic cooperation and promoting student mobility between the two institutions.
