We are happy to announce that Malin Nissen has joined the EDP Network as a member and are looking forward to working with her.
Malin Nissen is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Heisenberg Chair of International Relations and Transnational Politics at the University of Leipzig. Her research focuses on transnational civil society networks in the post-Soviet space. She previously completed her Bachelor’s degree in European Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and her Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Leipzig. The subject of her dissertation is the interaction of liberal and illiberal ideologies within transnational civil society networks in EU member states, accession candidates and non-aligned states against the background of Russian influence in the region. The analysis focuses on the positioning of these actors within the ideological and geopolitical ambivalence as well as the values they defend.
We are delighted to have you here, Malin.
