We are happy to announce that Maurice Schumann has joined the EDP Network as a member and are looking forward to working with him.

Maurice is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School affiliated with the Centre for International Security. His research interests include the interplay between technology and state repression as well as international interventions in civil wars. He has previously worked as a consultant at the United Nations and as a research assistant on various research projects. He holds a Master of Social Science in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz.
