The EDP Network welcomes Karina Mross, who will be joining our team from now on with her in-depth expertise in the area of post-conflict democracy support, peace and democratization after civil war. Karina is a researcher at the German Development Institute (DIE) in Bonn, where she is part of the research programme „Transformation of political (dis-)order: Institutions, values & peace“.

In 2019, Karina received her PhD from the University St.Gallen with her dissertation on “Democracy support and peaceful democratization after civil war: A disaggregate analysis”. Her recent article „First Peace, then Democracy? Evaluating Strategies of International Support at Critical Junctures after Civil War“ published in International Peacekeeping can be found here.
